Once the audio file has been transcribed, a “Download” button will appear in the Whishper interface. Use this button to save the results of the program’s work in a format that is convenient for you.
Available actions
When you click the download button, a pop-up window (modal window) opens where you can choose one of the following options:
- Download text transcription — in standard TXT format, structured JSON, or as an SRT or VTT subtitle file.
- Copy text — quickly copy the transcribed text to the clipboard to paste it into a document or other application.
- Download the source media file — get back the original audio or video recording from which the transcription was made.
Convenience and versatility
Whishper makes the export process as simple as possible: whether you need plain text, subtitles for videos, or structured data for integration into other systems, all these options are available directly from the interface.
